Veneers and Laminates

What are veneers and laminates?

Veneers and laminates serve the purpose of mimicking the color, shape, size, volume, and contour of a natural tooth. They are long-lasting and are easily bonded to teeth with dental adhesives.

Dental veneers and laminates are like shells that are used to cover the front side of teeth. They are placed to cover the front surface of damaged teeth for enhanced appearance. A thin layer of porcelain or composite material is used.

They are used to restore conditions like stained, chipped, decayed, crooked, discolored and misaligned teeth along with loss of enamel, fluorosis, and gaps in teeth.

How do veneers and laminates work?

Veneers and laminates are attached to the front side of teeth. So, they are like extensions of teeth and drastically improve the appearance of discolored, misaligned, chipped, cracked, and stained teeth.
